My digital camera and scanner are my gathering tools. My life experience as an artist and my skills at digital imaging offer the means to interpret art from multiple images and digital manipulations.

Seemingly unrelated elements of our environment, when combined, become visual statements about our sense of place. The manipulation of color, shape, and texture adds a new look and spirit to common flowers and foliage. This slide show features images of flowers that have been manipulated to achieve a graphic or illustrated appearance.
